Our Mission
At the WillPower Community Foundation, our mission is simple yet powerful: to support children and families affected by pediatric spinal cord injuries through financial assistance, community programs, and awareness initiatives in Austin, TX and beyond.
What We Do
Every child deserves dignity, hope, and opportunity.
We work to remove financial and logistical barriers by helping families access medical care, rehabilitation, and adaptive equipment that insurance often doesn't fully cover. We fund programs that get kids with spinal cord injuries into sports and recreation. And we support the research working toward treatment and a cure.

Supporting families
A spinal cord injury doesn't only change a child's life — it changes the whole family's. We help carry the load, financially and emotionally.

Access to play
Will plays wheelchair basketball. It's where he competes, where he wins, and where he's most himself. We fund the programs that give other kids the same thing.

Awareness & Community
Raising awareness and building community.
We partner with local organizations and host events to increase awareness of pediatric spinal cord injuries — and to bring together the families living with them.
This foundation exists because a community showed up. In 2019, Dripping Springs rallied around one kid: a GoFundMe, a hashtag, and a baseball tournament that grew from a few rec teams to 60 in a matter of days. That's still how this works. The support isn't only financial. It's prayers, visits, showing up, and refusing to let a family go through it alone.
